After reading wonderful reviews and seeing an offer on Groupon I couldn't refuse, I decided to book an appointment at Oak City Skin and Wax. This two woman operation has been in operation in Raleigh, NC for about a year and half but both women come with many years of experience as estheticians.
Oak City Skon and Wax offers facials, teeth whitening services as well as waxing. I was there to get a Brazilian Wax and scheduled with Whitney. I was not able to get a same day appointment however I was able to book for next day at noon. I appreciated them being able to accommodate me as a new customer so soon.
Not only is there location convenient to where I live but easy to find. Free parking is available in a private lot and their business is set up nicely on a lovely, yet intimate suite. Whitney saw me right away, the environment was clean and her attitude was warm/professional. I felt comfortable and definitely atbease. I knew I would be in good hands. She used hard wax for my service and explained some of their aftercare products offered for sale. I purchased the scrub and oil-$20/ for two and natural deodorant $15/ for two. It came with free exfoliating gloves and an information card to remind you what to do post waxing.
I enjoyed the experience and already booked my next appointment, where they will offer an in house maintenance price to match the same as Groupon. Winning!
